It’s a little late for this post but I saw an image today that made me think of it.

1,944 snitches

Someone should really make shirts of this, I want one.

A few days ago my friend and I were discussing the the MTA’s “say something” campaign. The ads read “LAST YEAR 1,944 NEW YORKERS SAW SOMETHING AND SAID SOMETHING”.

Granted there are plenty of times I’m glad people mind their own business here, but there are over 8 million people living in NYC, only 1,944 people snitched? I am shocked.
