Wishlist - Grid Index

I am obsessed with the Moleskin Grid paper Reporter sketchbook, especially for drawing letters, but I have been hoping for a multi grid sketchbook for a few years now and have yet to find one. Carsten Nicolai answered half of my prayers by creating Grid Index, the first comprehensive visual lexicon of patterns and grid systems. My only beef, its not a sketchbook. But a CD-ROM with all of the vector grids is included with the book.

The book is scheduled to be released in March/April 2009

I was searching for Herb Lubalin’s “Let’s Talk Type, Let Type Talk” design when I came across an Interesting article on Typography by Mark Simonson, originally published in the April 19, 1977, issue of Metropolis, the Weekly Newspaper of Minneapolis.

Superexpresso

Really fun work from Superexpresso. I really like the attention to detail for the site design as well. Note the roll over’s in the navigation all reflect the color of that project.
