Christoph Niemann - Visual One Liners

I really like the work of Illustrator Christoph Niemann. You have no doubt seen his work before. From the covers of New Yorker and the pages of New York Times to Childrens Books, Christoph Niemann’s work is always humorous and thought provoking.

You probably have seen his recent project for the New York Times, I LEGO NY, but if you haven’t already be sure to check out the rest of his work at his site.
If you like what you see Christoph did a presentation for an AIGA conference in 2007 which can be seen on the AIGA website. He talks about his work for the New Yorker, children’s books, his personal work, and ends with an interview with Kurt Anderson of Studio 360. Its defiantly worth watching, he is funny and his work is brilliant, but grab a snack, its about a half hour.
Also check out his book with Nicholas Blechman, 100% Evil featuring an intro by Chip Kidd. Niemann describes it as “Editorial Illustration without an Editor.”
