Phillies win the World Series
Hand drawn lettering, scanned and traced in illustrator. The “2008″ is SignPainter by House Industries.
I am a Philadelphia Sports fan which at times can be rough, but tonight we all breath a sign of relief and celebrate a championship. The Phillies beat the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 5 tonight, winning the world series four games to one. This is their’ second World Series win, the first being the 1980 win over Kansas City.
The philly curse is finally lifted! Before tonight the last championship was won by the Sixers in 1983. No team has won since the 1987 construction of Liberty One, built taller than the William Penn statue at City Hall which broke the friendly agreement. When the Comcast Building was built in 2008 a small statue of william penn was placed at the highest point just to be safe.

Semi Permanent 2008 Book
A piece of my work was published in the Design is Kinky Semi-Permanent 2008 book. It took me months to actually order it so this is a bit late, but just in time to get excited about SP09. You can submit your work and read all the details here. Entries are due by November 30.

Back in New York
I just got back from California, it was a blast. It was amazing to spend time in the tranquil mountains of Yosemite, but it’s nice to be back in the hustle and bustle of New York. Everything just moves so slow on the west coast. I have hundreds of photos to go through and will begin posting to my flickr shortly. More to Follow.
Louis Logic & JJ Brown with Kind Monitor - New York - May 2
I was lucky enough to work with Louis Logic on the flyer for his upcoming show in NY. I am a big fan of his and JJ’s work so this was a real honor. Look out for some more work from us in the near future.
New type work: figaro figaro
I have been listening to allot of MF Doom recently and was inspired. This is a new type design I just finished. The lyrics are from the Madvillain song Figaro.
